Summary
In Tanzania we explored the Ngorongoro Crater and the incredible Eden preserved therein. Thousands of flamingoes flew overhead and a small pod of the last remaining rhinos munched under the watchful eye of protective rangers. I hope their descendants still thrive there.
Being in Africa certainly threw into stark relief the devastation that the human species has had on this planet. What if…? Impossible now to think of the alternative, but I felt that I glimpsed it there in Tanzania.
