Mom has always been a dog lover, but when she started volunteering at the saddest shelter ever, she brought home a couple of really weird ones.
At the same time, we stray dogs who kept wandering out to the country from the bustling metropolis of Hoboken would finally give in and decide to be the country mice we were in our hearts. Dave and I saw one house and made an offer, and it was ours. No complications. We knew what we wanted, and that was that.
