Summary
Off we went for a summer visit with the family in Italy, but first we had decided to pass through Paris and visit my cousin, Laura, who was living there. To my dismay I found that Parisian society – then full of chain smokers – did not agree with my early pregnancy. It was rough keeping that secret and I was very relieved when we could finally spill the beans!
