When a marriage starts coming apart one wants to trace the steps that led there to see if there’s a way to unwind the damage. Is there a threshold between fixable and broken where we can switch tracks and turn back? This is where I was in the spring of 1999, and all around me I could see evidence of similar things happening to others. It was like a spring cleaning for the new millennium.
